Coached Merchants Trained to Create Attractive Packaging for Their Products

52 coached food merchants in West Jakarta attended packaging training on Tuesday (3/26). This training was held by West Jakarta Cooperatives Small Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUKMP) Sub-department to train those coached merchants to produce foods with good packaging thus they can compete with other merchants.

KUKMP Sub-department Head, Nuraini Silviana explained, this training was held to facilitate coached merchants to obtain business permit documents such as IUMK and others.

"We also assist them to develop their business by promoting their culinary products to the related institutions," she explained, Tuesday (3/26).

One of the participants, Erni Badawati Nasution (56) admitted she learned much about food management and making an attractive packaging for her products.

"Mentor team help me to create attractive catering packaging for my catering business," she expressed.

Another participant named Hadi Cimplung, resident of Grogol Petamburan also got help from mentor team how to make good packaging, improve the taste, and promote his martabak business which opened in Pasar Grogol Loksem, West Jakarta. 

"Formerly I only earned about Rp 500 thousand per day but it increases into Rp 1 million per day. I hope I can open a branch in the future," he added.
